THETA CHAPTER - UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA
Gender-inclusive, student-run, service fraternity following the three cardinal principles of leadership, friendship, and service.
APO offers numerous leadership opportunities. Weekly Saturday Projects and Midweeks are led by brothers, and all brothers are eligible to run for the Executive Board. Successful projects require dedication to leadership from all members of the brotherhood and pledges.
Theta brothers make it a priority to support one another and form lasting friendships. Each pledge is assigned a family of two to three brothers to guide them through the semester. Friendships made in APO don't end at graduation, as shown by strong alumni presence at service and social events.
Our weekly service program is comprised of three-hour Saturday Projects and daily one to two-hour Midweek projects. Each semester, we serve around 20 different local organizations dedicated to poverty alleviation, sustainable farming initiatives, therapeutic services, and many more.
